Diane Lynn (Woolner) Guay Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Diane Guay, who was born on September 12, 1947, in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario. Diane passed away peacefully on July 31, 2025, at Kelowna General Hospital, with her son Rob and daughter Nicole by her side.

A devoted mother, grandmother, and cherished sister, Diane leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness. She is survived by her three children—Rob, Nicole, and Jaymie—who will forever hold her memory close, and by her many beloved grandchildren, whom she adored deeply. She was previously married to Arthur Guay. Diane is also survived by her three brothers, Jim, Richard, and Bruce. She was the only daughter of the late Beatrice and Robert Woolner.

Diane made Kelowna her home for the past 25 years, though her heart always remained in Dawson Creek, where many of her fondest memories were made.

Known for her warmth, kindness, and bright, fun spirit, Diane touched the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

A private family gathering will be held in her honor to celebrate her life.
