He was predeceased by: his wife Ingrid Charlotte Perlbach; and his mother Ella Perlbach. He is survived by: his children, Sue Strek and Christian Perlbach (Cris Shay); his cousin Joachim Schleif; his aunt Margarete Bengtsson; his friend Hospice; and also France.
