He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dr. Samuel and Eva Best; his former wife Alice Perry; his spouse Sheilagh Ware; and his children, Don (Sheilagh), Carolyn (David), Gwendolyn (James), Lewis (Sandra), Ann Dorval (Barry) and Robert (Betty). He was also cherished by his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
