He was predeceased by: his parents, Olaf Gjernes and Irene Gjernes. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Gjernes; his children, Lorri Parussini (Robert Parussini) and Warren Gjernes; his grandchildren, Penny Gagnon, Cole, Sean, Cassidy and Tayler; and his sister Doreen Austin. He is also survived by extended family, and many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Ed's memory to the BC SPCA, a cause close to his heart, and one he'd say speaks for those who cannot speak for themselves.
