He was predeceased by: his parents, Masayuki Frank and Fumiko Alice Hamanishi; his brother Ken; and his sister-in-law Ann Hamanishi. He is survived by: his wife Vivian; his daughter Terri (Keith); his grandsons, Connor (Carsen) and Cole Gaudreau; his daughter Dea (Dave); his grandson Momo Parsanishi; and his siblings, Tom Hamanishi (Teena) and Yvonne Parsons (Ron). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
