She was predeceased by: her parents, Ila Embree and Ivan Embree; her husband Jim Read; her son Grant Read; and her granddaughter Tashanna Ducharme.
She is survived by: her children, Barb Hornsey (Larry), Debra Ducharme (Bert), Shelley Haslett (Al) and Mark Read (Lori); and her daughter-in-law Charlene Read. She is also survived by 11 Grandchildren and 11 Great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to BC Children's Hospital, HOPE Air or Vernon Hospice Society.
