She was predeceased by: her husband Allan McCollom; and her mother Rita Wilde. She is survived by: her daughter April Schweigert (Dean); her grandsons, Michael Marshall (Jen) and Jordan Schweigert; her brothers, Daniel King (Tammy) and George King (Jayson); her stepchildren, Alana, Nancy, Robert, Darcy and Darelle; her significant other Billy Bernier; and her partner's daughter Rachael Bernier (Ella). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 303 Whitman Rd, Kelowna, BC V1V2P3.
In lieu of flowers, family and friends are invited to make a donation to the British Columbia Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (BC SPCA) in honour of Ella's lifelong love of cats.
