She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Kohanski and Mary Kohanski; her siblings, Mike Kohanski, Anne Inget, Steffie Fyck, Ella Kochanoski and Jean Neuwirth; and her significant other Bill Rusch.

She is survived by: her son Gary Carpendale (Ruth); her grandsons, Riley Darke and Casey Darke; her daughter Shelley Bennett; her granddaughters, Miranda Bennett (Bryan Buss), Chelsea Bennett and Courtney Bennett; her daughter Debbie Bowering; her grandchildren, Gary Bowering and Brittni Bowering; her daughter Diane Carpendale; her grandchildren, Kristin Holder (Brett), Jenna Pawelko and Ryan Pawelko; her son Larry Carpendale (Sandi Wade); and her brothers, Nick Kohanski, Walter Kohanski and Edward Kohanski. She is also survived by her children and grandchildren.
