She was predeceased by: her husband Gijsbertus "Bert" Bouma; and her granddaughter Erica Bouma. She is survived by: her children, Bastiaan (Jane), Paul (Edith), Anita (Matt) and Robert (Kim); her grandchildren, Chris (Liz), Megan, Brett (Zel) and Alex; her great grandchildren, Lucas, Jacob and Juliette; her siblings, Georgette Boerma (Jan) of Amsterdam and Julien van Winckel (Julienne) of Antwerp; and her friend David Adams (Amy) of Knoxville. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
