Ernie Benzer Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ernie Benzer (Kelowna, British Columbia), who passed away on February 28, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Nick Benzer and Elizabeth Benzer; and his brothers, Joe and Bill (Sybil). He is survived by: his wife Kaye Benzer; his children, Patti Thomson (Peter), Sandra Straza (Barry), Jill Benzer and Scott Benzer; his grandchildren, Cassie Halter (Dan), Candice Straza, Christine Straza (Kirsti), Claire Thomson, Cameron Thomson, Mike Fenton, Stuart Fenton and Brad Fenton; his great grandchildren, Natalie Halter and Jakob Halter; and his brother Art (Gail) of Montrose, B. C.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and many wonderful friends.

He was very proud of his family and greeted his children by name despite his advancing Alzheimer's.
