She was predeceased by: her parents, Anton Shermack and Myrtle Shermack; and her siblings, Roy Shermack (Howard Hornback), Nellie Kremer and Earl Shermack.

She is survived by: her husband Howard Hornback; and her children, Kelowna, Robert (Ardelle) and Judy.

Florence requested donations to the Canadian Cancer society in lieu of flowers.
