He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Grigg and Hilda Grigg; his siblings, Joan Turner and Lance Grigg; his brothers-in-law, Wayne Boles and Duane Carter-Squire; and his nephews, Jeff and John Carter-Squire.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his daughter Jolene; his grandchildren, Jennifer (Glen), Austin (Natasha) and Sydney; his great grandchild Harrison Kai; and his sisters, Mona Carter-Squire, Heather LaFournie (Wayne) and Denise Grigg. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
