He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Harrington and Marguerite Harrington; and his wife Shari. He is survived by: his children, Sandy (Morden), Michelle (Don) and Rob (Sherry); his grandchildren, Tara, Samantha, Danielle and Jeffrey; his sister Gail (Jack); his nephews, Gordie (Karen) and Daryl; and his grandchildren, Michelle and Rob.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the Canadian Cancer Society as he was a Cancer survivor.
