He was predeceased by: his wife Jane Couldwell; his grandson Todd Kirkup; his sons-in-law, Paul MacKenzie and Jim Froggatt; and his fathers, George Couldwell and Jesse Couldwell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Pamela MacKenzie, Margo Couldwell, Sheila Froggatt and Katherine Kirkup; his grandchildren, Ryan Steuart (Kristine) and Laura Kirkup; and his great grandchildren, Solenne Steuart and McCanna Steuart.
