He was predeceased by: his parents, George Galigan and Mary Galigan; and his siblings, Steve, Nick, Ed, Peter, Billy, Johnny, Stanley, Mary and Yvonne.
He is survived by: his wife Lorna; his daughters, Brenda Desaulniers (Ed), Wendy Galigan, Lorrie Leins (Tim) and Vicky Bennett (Errol); his grandchildren, Josh, Randy, Jesica, Ryan, Jennifer, Kenna, Joshua, Samantha, Jeffrey and Kaitlyn; his great grandchildren, Alex, Madelaine, Simon, Violet, Autumn, Lincoln, Jackson, Mason, Bentley, Freya, Ezra and Vivian; his sister Anne; Norman and Orville Brownlee. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
