He was predeceased by: his wife Gisela. He is survived by: his children, Ingrid, Karen (Gerry) and Armin (Helena); his grandchildren, Travis (Stephanie), Ryan (Susan), Danika (Dale), Carson (Lisa) and Matthew; his sisters, Hede Schultz (Benno) and Lily Kriese; and his siblings-in-law, Dietmar Schwarz and Eleanor Schwarz. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
