He was predeceased by: his parents, John Stewart and Ann Stewart; his wife Ellen; his son Mike; his sisters, Kathleen and Sheila; and his cousin Lawrence.

He is survived by: his children, Ellen, Tami, Pat, Brenda (Mark), Sandra (Phil), Todd and Pam (Patrick); his grandchildren, Brett, Ami (Graham), Kevin (Madeline), Matthew, Sarah, Liam, Willick, Shyanne, Sam, Graden and Taylor; his great grandchildren, Georgia and Emilia; and his sister Maureen.

A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Charles Garnier Catholic Church (3645 Benvoulin Rd, Kelowna, BC V1W4M7).
