Gerda Schade Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 26, 2026, Gerda Schade (Kelowna, British Columbia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Theodor; her siblings, Gerhard, Siegfried, Armin (Alexandra), Hans and Edith (Hugo); her son-in-law Robert; and her grandson Brian.

She is survived by: her children, Arnold, Marlene and Rosemarie (Steve); her grandchildren, Tedd (Andrea), Tina (Jim), Jasen (Jenna), Joshua (Daniela), Chris (Val) and Karen; her great grandchildren, Thea, Jaxson, Anya and Rylie; and her sister-in-law Adele. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Springfield Funeral Home (2020 Springfield Rd, Kelowna, BC V1Y5V8).
