She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Carter and Alice Martin; her husband Bill Vandale; and her siblings, Phoebe Bell, Norman Carter, Thelma Docken and Audrey Sweet.
She is survived by: her sister Florence Lalonde (Marcel) of Meadow Lake; her children, Elaine Vandale of Kelowna, Norman Vandale of Kelowna, Robert Vandale of Tumbler Ridge, Linda Coutts (Bill) of Kamloops, Sandra Vandale and Lloyd Vandale (Cathy) of Kelowna; her grandchildren, Michael Alaric (Shelby Doiron), Taneisha Alaric-Marshall, Shantaya Alaric Marshall, Taylee Dawn, Joshua Vandale, Angel Vandale (Nick Kalashnikov), Destiny Vandale, Alex Vandale, Brooklyn Vandale and Garrett Vandale (Maria); and her great grandchildren, McKenna Vandale, Kaleb Vandale, Sayvin Kalashnikov and Theodore Kalashnikov. She is also survived by nephews and dear friends.
