He is survived by: his wife Gert; his daughters, Donna Manweiler, Katherine Rankin (Hugh Semple) and Shirley Rankin; his son-in-law Bob McGillivray; his grandchildren, Brendan, Justin, Jasmine, Robin and Rachel; his great grandchild Mackenzie; and his niece Esther Spear (Rod).
