Iren Sventek Obituary

The passing of Iren Sventek (Kelowna, British Columbia) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on November 27, 2024 at the age of 88. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

As Iren departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Iren may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Iren leaves behind.

She was predeceased by: the father of her children Bela Knetz; and her parents, Janos and Rozalia. She is survived by: her daughters, Mary and Irene. She is also survived by six grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
