She was predeceased by: her parents, Viktoria Sommerfeld and Reinhold Sommerfeld; her brothers, Viktor and Fritz; her nephew Rob Reitz; and her brother-in-law Walter Reitz.

She is survived by: her husband Theodor; her children, Rich Beierle (Anita Juska), Thom Beierle (Cindy) and Sue Mannix (Larry Gunn); her grandchildren, Steven Beierle (Jordan Sterling), Kayla Bathgate (Leland), Mike Beierle (Hillary), Jenn Mannix, Justine Berger (Fabien) and Kristen Beierle (Sam Willicome); her great grandchildren, William Bathgate, Kane and Cohen Beierle; her siblings, Frieda Reitz, Ingrid Gutsche and Ted Sommerfeld (Lorna Schroeder); and her children, Leslieville, Airdrie and Kelowna. She is also survived by many extended family members, and numerous nieces and nephews.
