Jack Verner Masterman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jack Verner Masterman of Kelowna, British Columbia, born in Calgary, Alberta, who passed away on May 30, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Isabel; his daughter Sheila Macdonald (Bruce); and his sister Ann Northcote (late Bruce). He is survived by: his wife Theresa; his children, Christine Murray (Brian), Lawrence (Susan), Keith (Chris) and Derek (Robin); and his sister Babs Church (late Evan). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and his many nieces and nephews.
He served as President of the Canadian Life and Health Insurance Association and was active in a number of causes both before and after retirement including advocating for organ donation, United Way, volunteering in hospice and serving as a Board member for the Victorian Order of Nurses.
