He was predeceased by: his grandfather Jake; his mother Annie; and his wife Leona Friesen. He is survived by: his father Jacob; his children, Grace (Steve), Valerie (Dave), Randy (Ingrid) and Cathy; his grandchildren, Steven (Meggan), Kessa, Leanne (Jerome), Jonathan (Anna), Pera (Alena), Max (Raeann), Chris, Jessica (Rainer) and Brianna (Armaan); his great grandchildren, Elijah, Reuben, Sadie, Isaiah, Andrew, Hudson and Wendell; his friend Ann; Mary.
