We are sad to announce that, on October 26, 2022, at the age of 91, Jacobus Adrianus Ooyevaar (Kelowna, British Columbia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brothers, Arie and Henk; and his siblings-in-law, Rie, Nico DeJong and Jan Ruiter.
He is survived by: his wife Nellie; his children, Remona MacKay (Mick), Teresa Ooyevaar, Michael, David and Patrick Ooyevaar; his grandchildren, Alix MacKay (Andrew Strain), McKenzie Romanow (Alexander), Max MacKay (Lisa McAdam) and Hunter Brett; his great grandchildren, Eva and Liam Strain; his siblings, Gerard Ooyevaar (Corrie), Rie Kraakman (Arie), Alie Dekker (Jan), Tinie Ruiter and Hanny DeJong; and his sister-in-law Jeanne.
