He is survived by: his wife Joann; his children, Jamie Weir, Jason Weir (Laura) and Jaala Freed (Justin); his grandchildren, Johnathan, Joshua, Hayden and Connor; his siblings, Katie Gummo and Perry Weir (Anne); and his sister-in-law Rae Weir. He is also survived by his family, friends.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Rutland Seventh-Day Adventist Church (130 Gerstmar Rd, Kelowna, BC V1X4A7).
