He is survived by: his wife Ellen Hassell; his brother Stuart (Valerie); his sister-in-law Joy; his children, Kelly (Karen), Doug Albers (Faith), Rodney Albers (Gina), Cindy Sabino and Audrey Cann (Doug); his grandchildren, Chrisandra, Emmit, Alixis, Melissa, Megan, Jenna, Morgan, Christopher, Brandon, Justin, Lindsay and Amanda; and his great grandchildren, Creston, Cameron, Cody, Ainsley, Ryleigh and Bryar.

Due to Covid restrictions, a Celebration of Mickey's life will be held at later date.
