He was predeceased by : his father John Eugene Taylor; his father-in-law Dell Hansen; and his brother-in-law David Gellatley. He is survived by : his child Sydney; his wife Kimberly; his mother Diane; his brother Cory (Michele); his mother-in-law Pat; his siblings-in-law, Chris (Ana) and Tamra; his uncle Ed Helfrick (Gloria); his nephew Hansen; and his brothers, Dan Ross (Taryn), Dallas Blake, Keith Kepes (Tammy) and Kevin D'Costa. He is also survived by family; his large extended family, cousins, nieces.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the BC Cancer Agency – Sindi Ahluwalia Hawkins Centre for the Southern Interior.
