He was predeceased by: his brother Lawrence Schlosser. He is survived by: his wife Gail; his daughters, Teresa Anwar (Saeed), Angela Wallenius (Daniel) and Jennifer Schlosser; his grandchildren, Karina Richmond (Josh) and Devon Matkovich (Erika); his great grandchildren, Riley, Thera, Benji Matkovich and Season Richmond; and his siblings, Rosemary Watson, Diane Saunders and Greg Schlosser.
A Memorial Service will be held to honour John, however due to the current pandemic restrictions it will be by invitation only.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
