He was predeceased by: his son James Ronald Grimsgaard; and his parents, Martin Grimsgaard and May Grimsgaard. He is survived by: his wife Elsie Grimsgaard; his children, Ian Grimsgaard and Heidi Petersen (Scott); his granddaughter Jocelyn; and his sister Audrey.
