John Vernon Kennedy Obituary

The memory of John Vernon Kennedy of Kelowna, British Columbia, who passed away on July 19, 2025 at the age of 85, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. In the vast expanse of eternity, John Vernon shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid John Vernon farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Delia Kennedy and Clarence Kennedy; his grandfather Vern; and his sister Sheila Woodman. He is survived by: his wife Eileen Judith Kennedy; his children, Vernon Scott (Petra), Kristie Lorelle and Kathryn Leigh (Jeff); and his grandchildren, Robert Scott Kennedy, Ashley Kennedy, Liam Kennedy, Julian Kennedy Fernback and Holly Rowan Fernback.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lakeview Memorial Gardens (2850 Dry Valley Rd, Kelowna, BC V1V1S1).
