Gordon Henderson wrote a sympathy message

“I'm so very sorry to be late at writing this. I only just learned of Wain's passing. I worked with Wain and was a friend. We met at "Kelowna Post" when Wain transferred here. I knew the spelling of his name as Wain. After Wain retired we remained in touch. I loved visiting Wain in Joe Rich. He was proud of his park-like property with trails and momentos hiding amongst the trees. I met Wain's mom many years ago, now. She was a wonderful human being. I will miss Wain. He was an individual! Gord H.”
