We bid farewell to Joseph George Strocen (Kelowna, British Columbia), born in Canora, Saskatchewan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 20, 2024 at the age of 81. Joseph George touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by : his parents, George Strocen and Ann Strocen; his parents-in-law, Mike and Julia Lozinski; his siblings, Mary Paluck (Sam), Joan Taylor (Bernard), Jenny Zurawell (Mike), Rose Strocen, Edward Strocen (Ann) and Roman; and his brother-in-law Nick Zbeetnoff.

He is survived by : his wife Dolores; his children, Janice Edge-Partington (Mike) of Fort Mill, SC, Sheri Hickin (Jeff) and Blaine Strocen (Nancey) of West Kelowna, BC.; his siblings, Helen Zbeetnoff of Saskatoon, SK and Dan Strocen (Ann) of Calgary, AB; and his sister-in-law Mary Strocen of Langley, BC..

A Mass was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (2547 Hebert Rd, West Kelowna, BC V4T2J6). A burial was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Westbank Cemetery (3200 Elliott Rd, West Kelowna, BC V4T8W2).

In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be directed to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation.
