He was predeceased by: his parents, George and Gladys; his parents-in-law, Roy and Kay Nelson; and his brother-in-law Ricky (Deidre).

He is survived by: his wife Donna; his children, Kirby, Troy (Roxanne) and Kenda; his granddaughters, Taylor and Caitlyn; his sister Marlene Brown (Jim); and his sister-in-law Sheree Emmerson (Greg).
