It is with sadness that the passing of Kurt Mittelstaedt (Kelowna, British Columbia) is shared. Kurt, born on May 11, 1932, passed away on October 27, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Kurt Mittelstaedt to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfons (Martha Mittelstaedt) and Lodz; his wife Martha; his siblings, Herbert, Erna, Leo, Ingrid and Gisela; his granddaughter Dawn; and his great grandchildren, Charlotte and Grayson.

He is survived by: his close friend Erich Blum; and his children, Rainer (Elizabeth), Leonard (Marilyn), Anita (Terry), Walter (Patty), Helga (Harry), Herb (Deena), Paul (Claudia) and Marty (Margit). He is also survived by twenty-six grandchildren and their partners; fifty-four great-grandchildren; other extended family members; and many friends.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Springfield Funeral Home (2020 Springfield Rd, Kelowna, BC V1Y5V8).
