With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Laraine Johnson in Kelowna, British Columbia, born in North Bay, Ontario, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Owen Staples and Elaine Staples; her husband Ken Johnson; and her close friend George Held. She is survived by: her daughter Holly; her son-in-law Gerard; her grandsons, Owen and Dylan; her sister Carolyn (Paul); her former husband Gerry Paterson; her nephew Patrick (Penny); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Pavlos and Kaitlyn; her niece Tara (Liv); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Anika and Tristan. She is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the St John's Cemetery (102 Golf Club Rd, North Bay, ON P1B9T8). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Missionwood Retirement Resort (1075 Barnes Ave, Kelowna, BC V1W5A8).
