Laurene Annie Schug Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Laurene Annie Schug of Kelowna, British Columbia, who passed away on December 3, 2023 at the age of 103. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Schug and Caroline Schug; her siblings, Adrian, Alvin, Norman, Dennis Schug, Cecilia Paulgaard and Lillian Smythe; her daughters, Marvis Truitt and Carol Truant; her grandchildren, Randall Truant and Jarren Truant; and her great grandchild Jeremiah Hogan.
She is survived by: her husband Maurice Truitt; her daughters, Janice Hancock (Richard) of Vancouver, BC and Annette Truitt-Avoledo (Dave) of Whitehorse, YT; her sister-in-law Louise Schug; her grandchildren, Darcy Truant (Marlene), Lavonna Hogan (Badger), Christopher Hancock (Daniela), Deanne Jonckheere (Aaron), Travis Harris, Mark Harris (Ashley), Cody Harris and Pamela Harris; her stepgranddaughter Teagan Avoledo; her great grandchildren, Kayla, Ashley, Samantha, Cayleigh, Carlo, Kyler, Hayley, Cheyenne, Keauna and Daniel; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Leroi and Miki; and her great great grandchildren, Athena and Auden. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and special friends.
