Leni Barcela Boon Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leni Barcela Boon (Kelowna, British Columbia), who passed away on September 5, 2025 at the age of 48. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her husband Shedon Boon; her son Luke Boon; her parents, Oscar Barcela and Soledad Barcela; her siblings, Raul Barcela, Leah, Jean and Mimay; and her parents-in-law, Ellis, Janis Boon, Cameron, Willow, Clayton, Maria, Jaron and Jessica.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Springfield Funeral Home (2020 Springfield Rd, Kelowna, BC V1Y5V8). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Immaculate Conception Church (839 Sutherland Ave, Kelowna, BC V1Y5X4).
