He was predeceased by: his son Michael; his sister Dorothy; and his parents, Bert Tribe and Sarah Tribe. He is survived by: his wife Lynn (Bleasdale); his daughter Nora; his daughter-in-law Michelle (Skylar LeBert); his granddaughters, Chantelle, Averie and Sera; and his siblings, Norman Tribe and Edna O'Flynn. He is also survived by his family and friends.

“While I did not know this man personally, I know he was an extraordinary person. I’m a young girl (15) with a passion for music. I won his fiddle at the Canadian grandmasters fiddle championship at the raffle in late August, 2025. This is my first fiddle and honestly winning it was the luckiest day of my life. I promise to look after and respect Mr. Tribe’s instrument. I wish I could have met this amazing man in person but most of all I hope to honor his memory. May he rest easy. God bless.”
