She was predeceased by: her husband Herb; her parents, Newton Minion and Etta Minion; and her siblings, Evelyn Garbutt, Wilbur, Harvey and Harold.

She is survived by: her son Dale (Wendy); and her granddaughter Kayla (Jon) of Kelowna. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or to the R.J. Haney Heritage Village and Museum in Salmon Arm.
