She was predeceased by: her parents, John Tkachuk and Rose Tkachuk; her son Dave (Brenda); her husband Con Petrescue; her daughter Karen Braun (Douglas); and her siblings, Anne Boychuk (Harold), John (Ethel) and George Tkachuk (Alice).
She is survived by: her children, Michelle Derksen (Murray) and Bernie (Marcia); Winnifred McQueeny (John). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, plus many nieces and nephews.
