She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Hopkins and George Hopkins; and her parents-in-law, Lil, Perry and Ina Hedman.
She is survived by: her grandson Matt; her husband Jim; her children, Angie Rachkowski (Shawn) and Matt (Charlene); her grandchildren, Lucas and Amelia; her close friend Harley; her siblings, Diana (Bob), John (Dawn), Bob (Barb) and George; and her siblings-in-law, Judy (Jim), Pam (Rob) and Bill (Jackie). She is also survived by extended family and many friends.
From there, she went on to work at KGH Foundation for 11 years as office administrator, finally retiring in 2013.
