He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Dovich and Helen Dovich; and his brothers, Alex and John. He is survived by: his wife Betty-Ann; his children, Darcy, Monica and Terry; and his siblings, Stan Dovich (Annie) of Saskatoon, Leonard Dovich of McBride, BC, Dennis Dovich (Ronnie) of Didsbury, Doris Lorenson of Calgary, Gloria Pond (Mel) of Republic, Joan Curran of Lethbridge and Darlene Bildstein (Darryl) of Kelowna, BC. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
