He was predeceased by: his wife Helen; and his sons, Jim and Scott. He is survived by: his children, John (Cindy) of Kelowna, Graham (Lisa) of Surrey and Lesley (Dave) of Vernon; his grandchildren, Max, Sheena, Dean and Melissa; and his great grandchildren, Terran, Rhett and Ryley.
