He is survived by: his son Ray Carpenter (Ami); his granddaughters, Abigail and Caroline of Connecticut, USA; his son Cody Carpenter (Joni); his grandchildren, Brennan and Ione of Arizona, USA; his child Taylor Reed (Jared); his grandchildren, Ethan and Nora of Surrey, BC.; and his siblings, Dennis, Ken, Vikki and Beth.
