He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Nelson and Jessie Nelson; and his brother Arthur. He is survived by: his wife Carole; his daughter Melissa (Zach); his siblings, Alexis, Sandra and Doug; and his brothers-in-law, Bob Stan (Kathryn) and Ron Stan (Susie). He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
