She was predeceased by: her parents, Mildred Jones and Vern Jones; her brother Alan Jones (Maggie); and her son Scott Stuart. She is survived by: her sister Terri Hinton (George); her husband Greg Smith; her grandchildren, Lander, Naia and Megan Kensett; her great grandchildren, Max and Sam; her grandchildren, Terri Hinton (George), Gerry Stuart, Andre Sad, Maggie LaFleur and Jamie Slater (Marina); her great grandchildren, Anna, Sarah and Ryan; and her grandchildren, Rob Slater and Kristine Slater (Dave).

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Canadian Cancer Society.
