She was predeceased by: her husband Allen; her children, David and Karren van Ryswyk; her parents, Herbert Williams and Alice Williams; and her brothers, Bryce and Barrie.

She is survived by: her daughters, Diane (Shane), Leslie (Gary) and Marlene (Dan); her grandchildren, Chris, Melissa (Tiam), Cory, Jesse and Ryan; her great grandchildren, Madison, Emma and Casey; her sisters-in-law, Donna Newman and Norma Bunes; her close friend Linda Lawrence; and her godsons, Earl and Doug Lawrence. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
