He was predeceased by: his parents, Aleksander and Maria; his stepmother Mutek; and his brother Edward. He is survived by: his wife Florence; and his children, Raoul Jr., Jadwiga (Grant), Zofia (Brian) and Stefan (Olai). He is also survived by grandchildren.
