It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ronald Davidson Insley of Kelowna, British Columbia, born in Vancouver, British Columbia, who passed away on October 1, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Insley and Sarah Insley (McAteer); his wife Joyce Black; and his siblings, John Eardley Insley (Earl), James Insley (Jim), Herbert Insley (Buddy) and Margaret Tapping (Peggy).
He is survived by: his sister Sheila Robertson; his children, Sharon Campbell (Doug) of Smithers, BC, Kathleen Holbrook (Bill Woolfolk) of Jacksonville, NC, Janice Fisher (Joe) of Kelowna and Douglas Insley (Marni) of Kelowna; his grandchildren, Cody (Kelsey), Sarah (Trevor), Jim (Sara), Steve (Allyssa), David (Brit), Mark (Nicole), Jesse and Georgia (Nick); his great grandchildren, Taya, Piper, Hayden, Trent, Owen, Julie, Sienna, Easton and Liam; and his pet Murphy. He is also survived by brothers and 2 sisters, nephews, nieces.
