He was predeceased by: his parents, John Insley and Sarah Insley (McAteer); his wife Joyce Black; and his siblings, John Eardley Insley (Earl), James Insley (Jim), Herbert Insley (Buddy) and Margaret Tapping (Peggy).
He is survived by: his sister Sheila Robertson; his children, Sharon Campbell (Doug) of Smithers, BC, Kathleen Holbrook (Bill Woolfolk) of Jacksonville, NC, Janice Fisher (Joe) of Kelowna and Douglas Insley (Marni) of Kelowna; his grandchildren, Cody (Kelsey), Sarah (Trevor), Jim (Sara), Steve (Allyssa), David (Brit), Mark (Nicole), Jesse and Georgia (Nick); his great grandchildren, Taya, Piper, Hayden, Trent, Owen, Julie, Sienna, Easton and Liam; and his pet Murphy. He is also survived by brothers and 2 sisters, nephews, nieces.
